Prior to Tuesday, you also must watch the film Silence of the Lambs on your own and you may skip the scenes you don't want to see.

Thursday: Discussion of Film and Fairy Tale

Blog Entry 10: Find a cartoon on-line with a Rapunzel motif and discuss the cartoon and compare it with either the original tale or the Disney film. Add a copy of the cartoon, name of cartoonist and the source (URL). Blog is due by Sunday, November 15.

Report 15: Maria Tatar: “The Attractions of “Bluebeard”: The Origins and Fortunes of a Folktale,” in: Secrets beyond the Door, pp. 11-66 (many pictures). On Blackboard under Course Documents.
